Vernon Douglas

Director/Technical Sales

Vernon leads the sales & technical team and ensures we deliver the most up to date, cost effective communications.

He has a broad range of experience as an accountant, a sales manager, a teacher and 15 years as an airline pilot. In his spare time he enjoys learning Spanish, running and mountain biking.

Catherine Douglas

Director/Manager

Catherine is the general manager. She links with everyone on the team to make sure we deliver a high quality of products and services.

Catherine stays active with regular swimming, biking and walking and she is also a basketball referee and coach.

Susie Barker

Office Administrator

Susie is responsible for general administration, accounts, bookings, counter sales and frontline customer service.

Previously, she held finance roles at Waka Kotahi and was an office manager in a small business. Susie enjoys keeping active by going to the local gym and walking in the Redwoods.

Cameron Chandler

Technician

Cameron’s key responsibilities include installation, fault diagnosis and remedy, repeater maintenance and programming.

He is Rotorua born and bred and has a background in auto-electical. In his free time he likes to explore the outdoors in his 4 wheel drive vehicle or on his mountain bike.

Daron Cuff

Technician

Daron’s responsibilities include installation, fault diagnosis & remedy, repeater maintenance and servicing and programming.

He worked for Colvins in Gisborne for 10 years prior to joining Alcom in 2022. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Chris and their dog, Khan.
