Alcom Connect is a digital radio network providing seamless coverage and service across the Central North Island.

The Tier 3 digital VHF trunked radio technology and IP linking deliver high-quality voice communication and a range of other features that integrate to provide enhanced health and safety and crew efficiency.

The Network is a partnership initiative between Alcom, Colvins Communications (Gisborne)  and Communicate (Napier).

We are independent, locally owned and operated networks that link to create a larger network. Together, we deliver a better quality of service to all our network customers.

ALCOM CONNECT OFFERS MORE THAN VOICE – It’s an innovative, cost-effective and flexible solution for improved health & safety and business communications.

Tait Tier 3 digital VHF trunked radio technology and IP linking are used to deliver high quality voice communication and a range of other features which improve health & safety and operational effectiveness.

INTEGRATED HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT

Alcom Connect offers a variety of features to assist with the health and safety of crews working in remote areas and when moving between forestry blocks. These health and safety features ensure that when there is an emergency event, the network can transmit an alert to a wide range of co-workers, remote workers, management team members and third-party monitoring services. This system ensures the worker needing assistance can receive it as quickly as possible from the people best placed to react.

Once the team member has received the assistance they need, the digital network also offers the ability for health and safety professionals to review how the event was managed.

    The Tait TM9300 & TP9300 radios are quad mode which means they can be programmed for forestry analogue channels and the Alcom Connect digital network

    Your system can be customized to have talk groups and one on one calling according to your needs.
  • PHONE INTERCONNECT
    IP link technology allows you to make calls from the forest to mobile and landline phones.

    Move small data packets to monitor alarms and provide IOT connectivity.

    Your radio can be programmed to prioritize critical calls in emergency situations.
