Pretty much everyone in Rotorua is aware of the CRANKWORX phenomenon that has enthralled spectators every March since 2015. This year, South Islanders got in on the action, with Christchurch Adventure Park added as a venue for the Summer Series: 13th-16th February.

The Rotorua event, dubbed the “soul” of Crankworx, is much celebrated and supported by locals: seeing world-class athletes perform live is amazing, and there are many quality merchandise and food and beverage stalls onsite, which makes for a fun, carnival-like atmosphere.
